This book is published by VOV in collaboration with the Truth National Political Publishing House. The book inherits the publication “70 years of Voice of Vietnam (1945-2015)”, and at the same time adds many documents, images, and stories from the period 2015-2025, the decade marking VOV’s remarkable growth in the context of strong changes in global media, and the column “Echoes of the Voice of Vietnam” with opinions of Party and State leaders, artists, intellectuals, and the public at home and abroad talking about VOV.

With a capacity of nearly 500 pages, the book is a work that gathers the passion, intelligence and love for the profession of many generations of radio journalists. The book's content focuses on three contents: Recreating the tradition and the courage to overcome difficulties in 80 years of construction and development, affirming the position of VOV in the heart of the nation; Reflecting the attachment and dedication of many generations of cadres, reporters and technicians, with the noble mission: connecting the Party's will with the people's heart; Orienting the development strategy in the digital age, on the threshold of a new stage of the country.

A new highlight is the QR code section, which helps readers access more information about the development stages, affiliated units, leadership team and noble awards. In addition, the section “Uncle Ho’s stories with the Voice of Vietnam” is carefully compiled, reflecting his feelings and concern for the station.

During the compilation process, despite facing difficulties in source materials, especially during the resistance period, the compilation team still adhered to scientific principles, objectively comparing events and characters. Many letters and articles from the public expressing their feelings for VOV through the periods were also included, reflecting the bond between the station and its listeners.
