Launching to respond to the Month of promoting the implementation of universal social insurance - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the morning of May 9, Lang Son Provincial Social Insurance (SSI) coordinated with the Provincial Post Office to organize the launching ceremony to respond to the Month of mobilizing the implementation of universal social insurance in 2025.

Mr. Ha Dinh Hai, Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance launched the response to the Month of promoting the implementation of universal social insurance in 2025.

The activities took place simultaneously at the provincial Social Insurance headquarters and the Social Insurance offices of the districts, with the participation of leaders of People's Committees at all levels, officials of the Social Insurance sector, the Post Office and collection service organizations.

On November 21, 2019, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1676/QD-TTg approving the Project on comprehensive innovation of content, form and methods of social insurance (SI) propaganda. Accordingly, the Social Insurance Campaign Month for the entire population is organized every year in May to create a strong highlight in the communication of social insurance policies and laws, attracting the attention of all classes of people to social insurance policies, especially voluntary social insurance; propagating and encouraging people to participate in social insurance towards the goal of universal social insurance; communicating, disseminating,educating , motivating and raising the sense of responsibility of employers in proactively participating in social insurance for employees.

With the theme “Social Insurance – Peace of mind for every family”, the launching ceremony aims to raise people’s awareness of the humane meaning of social insurance and health insurance policies, the benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance; at the same time, promote the role of the social insurance sector and collection service organizations in the work of propagating and mobilizing people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance. The goal set for the month of mobilization (May) is that each social insurance officer and collection service organization employee mobilizes and develops 2 or more people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance.

After the launching ceremony, the forces participated in the parade, cheering, and mobile propaganda by car and motorbike on the main roads of Lang Son city and districts. At the same time, small groups directly distributed leaflets, encouraged people to participate in voluntary social insurance, family health insurance in residential areas, traditional markets, and crowded places; organized small group dialogues at the grassroots level.

In addition, communication work on voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies has been promoted on mass media such as: Lang Son Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Lang Son Provincial Electronic Information Portal, Provincial Social Insurance Electronic Information Portal, social networking sites managed by the Provincial Social Insurance (Lang Son Provincial Social Insurance fanpage and Zalo OA), personal pages (Facebook, Zalo, YouTube...) of civil servants, public employees, labor contracts of Lang Son Provincial Social Insurance and through the loudspeaker system of communes, wards and towns.

The launching ceremony is a practical activity to bring social security policies to the people, contributing to the goal of universal social insurance and health insurance.
