Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee works with Pacific Construction Group (China) - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television

- On the morning of May 20, comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session with the delegation of Pacific Construction Group (China) led by Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, founder of the group, Chairman of Trang Nghiem Research Institute.

Overview of the working session

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee respectfully welcomed Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa and members of the delegation of Pacific Construction Group to visit and work in Lang Son province.

Comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province spoke at the meeting.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee briefly informed about the socio -economic development situation of the province in recent times. He also hoped that based on the results of the group's meetings with provincial agencies in March and early May, the two sides would continue to discuss and clarify further investment cooperation items in the coming time, especially the 4 projects on transport infrastructure and logistics.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: Lang Son province always accompanies and creates favorable conditions for Pacific Construction Group to research, survey and implement cooperation projects in the area within the framework of Vietnamese law and international treaties to which Vietnam is a member.

Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, founder of Pacific Construction Group, To Thuong Group, Chairman of Trang Nghiem Research Institute, discussed some contents at the working session.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa expressed his pleasure to visit and work in Lang Son province; thanked the provincial leaders for the warm welcome for the working delegation.

Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa highly appreciated the socio-economic development results of Lang Son province in recent times, especially the potential of investment projects in transport infrastructure; industrial parks and clusters; logistics that Lang Son province is attracting investment.

Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa said that during this working trip to Lang Son province, Pacific Construction Group wishes to learn more about the Lang Son - Thai Nguyen expressway project with a length of 120 km; the logistics infrastructure project of the duty-free zone, dry port, urban area and Lang Son international cargo storage center to develop investment plans and options.

During the meeting, delegates discussed and clarified more information about the projects that Pacific Construction Group is interested in and the projects that Lang Son province is focusing on attracting investment; mechanisms and preferential policies in attracting investment in Lang Son province.

The two sides basically agreed to continue to coordinate in the coming time so that the Pacific Construction Group can promote research and investment activities in Lang Son province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to be the focal point to provide information on projects that the Pacific Construction Group is interested in and wishes to invest in.
