Exciting program "Happy summer reading" - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the morning of May 22, the Provincial Library organized the program "Happy summer reading" with the theme "Reading books today - leading the way to tomorrow", attracting the participation of nearly 500 students from primary and secondary schools in Lang Son city.

The program was organized to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and celebrate International Children's Day June 1, while contributing to spreading reading culture in the community, creating a useful and healthy playground for children during the summer.

Within the framework of the program, students participated in many exciting and attractive activities such as: painting with prizes, learning knowledge through books and newspapers, interacting with artists of the Vietnam Circus Federation, visiting the document exhibition booth, arranging art books, reading books on the multimedia mobile library car and registering for free reader cards.

Students participate in games performed by the Vietnam Circus Federation.

The activities not only bring joy but also contribute to practicing reading comprehension skills, creative thinking and the ability to receive knowledge actively and effectively.

With the theme “Reading books today - leading the way to tomorrow”, the program aims to promote and introduce the rich information resources of the Provincial Library; affirming the great value of books in the process of learning, training and personality development for the young generation.

The program is a useful playground, contributing to nurturing the love of books and forming the habit of reading from a young age for students, improving people's knowledge, cultivating personality, patriotism and a sense of responsibility to society, building a future generation of knowledgeable and humane citizens.
