The Autumn Economic Forum 2025 (Forum) with the theme "Green transformation in the digital age" is scheduled to take place from November 25-27 at Thisky Hall Convention Center (formerly Thu Duc City). The event is directed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, chaired by the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (HCMC C4IR), in coordination with agencies, ministries and the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The Autumn Economic Forum 2025 (formerly known as the Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum) continues to receive deep attention from the Government, central ministries and branches, domestic and foreign localities, and the international business community.
The forum will be attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son; WEF Executive Director Stephan Mergenthaler; and leaders of ministries, sectors and localities.
Regarding international guests, as of November 17, Ho Chi Minh City has received confirmation of attendance at the Forum from 22 delegations of leaders of ministries, branches, localities of countries, international organizations; 75 delegations from centers of the 4th industrial revolution, innovation centers and large corporations from Europe, America, Australia and Asia.
During the 3 days of the Forum, there are expected to be main activities such as: CEO 500 Program - TEA CONNECT, plenary session, policy dialogue program, inspirational talkshow for young people...
The Forum aims to strengthen the friendly relations between Ho Chi Minh City and foreign localities, raise the level of foreign affairs and international cooperation of the City; exchange and discuss orientations for building cooperation frameworks to serve the development goals of the City.
The forum also aims to create conditions for the Ho Chi Minh City business community to connect, meet and cooperate with international businesses, experts and organizations; introduce and promote the image of a dynamic, creative and friendly Ho Chi Minh City , a leading attractive destination for international investors and tourists.
To promote this important event, Ho Chi Minh City has coordinated with WEF to communicate on global media channels and WEF's international partner network, while also implementing domestic communication activities on domestic and international press and television channels, including major news agencies such as Nikkei, Bloomberg, and The New York Times.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son highly appreciated Ho Chi Minh City for proactively and actively coordinating with central ministries and branches to deploy preparation work according to the set schedule, achieving good results.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the City to continue promoting information and propaganda work before the event; urgently decorate the streets with banners and billboards, especially on the route from Tan Son Nhat airport to the convention center.
Regarding the content, the Deputy Prime Minister requested relevant ministries, branches and Ho Chi Minh City to continue reviewing, updating and supplementing the speeches of the Government and Ho Chi Minh City leaders in a concise manner according to WEF standards, in which it is necessary to state the priorities, needs as well as promote the potential and strengths of the country and the city, on that basis, propose directions for cooperation with international partners.
For the plenary session, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that there should be more speakers who are leaders of some typical domestic and international enterprises.
The Deputy Prime Minister also asked Ho Chi Minh City to continue promoting the signing of cooperation documents between the City and WEF, with other countries and with foreign enterprises.
Regarding security work, although the City has a lot of experience, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that we cannot be subjective.
The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Ho Chi Minh City continue to coordinate with WEF to share experiences and secrets to bring the Forum to international level in the coming years.
