Reviewing the progress of work serving the 14th National Congress of the Party

On November 19, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Organizing Subcommittee serving the 14th National Party Congress chaired a meeting to review work and give opinions on plans to implement propaganda and decoration activities to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress.

The meeting was attended by comrade Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of leaders of departments, ministries and branches participating in the work serving the Congress.

At the meeting, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and leaders of the National Convention Center reported on the progress of assigned tasks, the content of the layout for decorating the space inside and outside the hall; the design of the Presidium and the podium inside the hall; the content, quantity and form of propaganda slogans serving the Congress; and badge samples for delegates and guests.

At the meeting, the Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Organizing Subcommittee serving the 14th Congress gave his opinion on the decoration and visual propaganda work in the areas and spaces; including the celebratory decoration of the space inside the hall where the 14th Party Congress takes place at the National Convention Center, Thang Long Avenue (Hanoi).

Concluding the meeting, comrade Tran Cam Tu acknowledged the efforts and preparation work of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasizing that the Ministry's tasks are very large, very important, short in time, and require high political requirements and technical and artistic innovation.

Therefore, comrade Tran Cam Tu requested the Ministry and units to continue to seriously, promptly and effectively implement the conclusions of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the direction of General Secretary To Lam on this content.

The Standing Member of the Secretariat requested the Government Party Committee to direct the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to absorb the opinions expressed at the meeting; organize a survey team at the National Convention Center, and develop plans to ensure the requirements and goals set out, especially the synchronization, solemnity, harmony and aesthetics.

The Party Central Office and the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission urgently appraise the content, quantity, form, and arrangement plan of propaganda slogans; requiring that the propaganda content be very specific, ensuring the important elements mentioned in the content of the documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress and the direction of the General Secretary.

Emphasizing that time is running out, comrade Tran Cam Tu requested the Party Central Committee Office, the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to continue to closely coordinate to propose the most optimal solutions in each group of work to promptly report to the Politburo for consideration and approval.
