Tears in many scenes

The footage shown at the closing ceremony was very emotional.

"Thanh An Island of love" by Thanh An Primary School, Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City was the first film to be screened at the ceremony.

The film won an encouragement prize but touched the hearts of viewers when it expressed the love for her homeland of a student who was raised in the island commune of Thanh An and then left her homeland for 8 years but still could not forget her nostalgia with love and filial piety for her parents.

The film depicts the real life of the people of Thanh An island commune. Following the memories of a child far from home, Thanh An island commune appears sincere and real through simple classrooms, dried fish specialties, salt fields and sunny tourist areas.

Life is still difficult, but the people in Thanh An island commune are always optimistic and warm-hearted, making viewers unable to hide their emotions with the nostalgia of the little student from years ago.

Another film, "Imprint" by Phan Chu Trinh Primary School, Tan Phu District, deeply touched many audiences present at the closing ceremony.

The film tells the memories of Hung - a famous pianist - when he was a primary school boy with a hard, difficult, and arduous life but full of humanity, friendship, teacher-student relationship, and mutual love and support from neighbors.

Many viewers were moved to tears by the scene where a primary school boy leaned his head on his mother's shoulder while she was exhausted from hard work and asked, "Mom, can I skip school to help you?"
