FIFA's new 32-team tournament kicked off on June 15, with the match between Inter Miami and Al-Ahly ending in a 0-0 draw.
Notably, Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr were not eligible for the tournament. CR7 could have joined a team in the tournament on a short-term contract, but decided not to do so, much to the disappointment of his die-hard fan, American streamer iShowSpeed.
During a livestream with IShowSpeed, Aguero continued to attack Ronaldo. He started by asking Speed: "You're a big fan of Cristiano, right?". After Speed confirmed his love for Ronaldo, Aguero replied: "I respect that, it's okay. He's a good player. Of course, I like Messi more."
Aguero then continued to tease Ronaldo by asking sarcastically: "Will Ronaldo play in the FIFA Club World Cup?", adding: "Maybe he will have to watch the tournament on TV."
IShowSpeed immediately defended Ronaldo, affirming that the owner of 5 Golden Balls will lead Portugal to win the 2026 World Cup. Aguero quipped: "Ronaldo just won the Euro, right? Ah, it's the Nations League, congratulations."
IShowSpeed is a huge fan of football superstar Ronaldo. He appeared at every match of CR7 at the 2022 World Cup, or even knelt down when he could finally meet his idol in person. Speed's most "view-attracting" content on YouTube is all related to Ronaldo.
