About 7,500 bamboo poles were planted on an area of 1,000 square meters by Truc Bach Lake, at the intersection of Thanh Nien Street and Tran Vu Street, Ba Dinh District. The Ba Dinh District Investment and Construction Project Management Board said that the project of planting bamboo and renovating Truc Bach Lake garden was implemented since November last year and is now basically completed.
This is the first time a public place in the inner city has planted bamboo poles. These trees are mainly from Cao Bang, currently growing well and starting to branch out.
With a height of 4-5 m, when the tree has leaves, this area will look like a miniature bamboo forest.
To create aesthetics, grass is planted under the trees, and between each row is a path made of many large stone slabs. Recently, this area has attracted many people, especially international visitors.
In between the rows of trees, paths are built for people to explore. The bamboo trees attract the attention of locals and foreign tourists when passing through this area.
Many foreign tourists took the opportunity to take photos in this unique area. Anna and her husband (from England) shared: "My husband and I were exploring Hanoi, passing by this area and saw this bamboo forest was quite unique and strange, so we went in to take photos as a souvenir."
Many people living in this area said that planting bamboo so thickly is quite unique, people can exercise and walk on the path through each bamboo clump.
To keep the bamboo straight and not leaning, the construction team shaped the tree trunk with bamboo and stainless steel stakes and used steel wire to secure the bamboo trunk. In the photo is an Australian tourist on a trip to Hanoi to explore the bamboo garden here.
A group of foreign tourists enjoyed walking in the green space of thousands of bamboo trees at Truc Bach Lake. This area also has stone benches, electric lights for reading, trash cans, walkways... designed harmoniously and modernly.
