
This is one of the highlight events in the series of activities for the Quang Nam Culture, Sports and Tourism Days 2025.
The event was held in Dong Khuong village, famous for its Phu Chiem Quang noodles, and featured a variety of activities such as demonstrations of traditional Quang noodle preparation and performances by professional chefs from the Quang Nam Culinary Culture Association.
The event includes competitions for impressive food stalls, a contest for the "Most Delicious, Beautiful, and Unique Quang Noodle Bowl," a culinary space showcasing Quang noodles and other traditional Quang Nam dishes, and displays of traditional craft villages and OCOP products...

In addition, there are performances of traditional Vietnamese opera, folk singing, mask painting, lion and dragon dances, and the essence of traditional martial arts, folk art performances, and exchanges between artisans, thereby recreating a colorful cultural picture of Dien Ban from the past to the present.

At the opening ceremony of the 2025 Quang Noodle Festival held on the evening of June 7th, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province presented the decision to include "Quang Nam Province's Folk Knowledge of Quang Noodles" in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Chau, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Ban town, affirmed that Quang noodles are not simply a dish but also a distinctive cultural feature in the spiritual life of the people of Quang Nam. Through many ups and downs, Quang noodles have retained their authentic flavor, accompanying the childhood memories of every child of Quang Nam.

In particular, we are even more proud that "Folk knowledge about Quang noodles" has been officially inscribed on the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage, demonstrating well-deserved recognition of the unique traditional cultural values of this dish, helping to spread it to friends and diners both domestically and internationally.
The uniqueness of this dish lies in its diverse preparation methods, using seasonal ingredients. Any produce such as shrimp, pork, chicken, snakehead fish, frog, flying fish, etc., can be used to make noodles, embodying the full characteristics of Quang Nam cuisine. With its diverse ingredients and flexible, creative cooking methods, this dish, originating from rural life, possesses a genuine, rich flavor, reflecting the character of the people of Quang Nam.

The Quang Noodle Festival 2025 will once again contribute to affirming the cultural value of folk knowledge. Through this, it will help promote the preservation and promotion of the value and culinary culture of Quang noodles, attracting tourists and developing local tourism and economy.

Earlier, on the afternoon of June 6th, at the opening ceremony of the Quang Nam Culture, Sports, and Tourism Days 2025 held in Hoi An City, representatives of the Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced and presented the decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to include Quang Nam noodles (Quang Nam province) in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage in the field of folk knowledge.
Leaders of the Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with representatives from four exemplary households in Hoi An City, Dien Ban Town, Duy Xuyen District, and Nui Thanh District specializing in Quang Nam noodle processing, received this decision.
