Deputy Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism Pham Duy Phong said: Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 is an annual tourism event, a typical tourism product of Ninh Binh.

Bringing the event to a large number of tourists, Ninh Binh continues to affirm its brand and position as a safe and friendly destination as voted by many newspapers, magazines, and famous travel sites in the world : Ninh Binh is one of the 10 ideal destinations for the whole family to have the best vacation in 2023. Previously, Ninh Binh was the only representative of Vietnam to be on the list of the 10 friendliest destinations in the world.

The new highlight of Tourism Week 2023 is that on the golden rice fields of Tam Coc stretching along the Ngo Dong River, winding like a soft silk strip, farmers have created a "fish watching the moon" painting with rice covering an area of over 9,500 square meters. It is a symbol of completeness, abundant water energy supporting the development of green tourism in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, a thousand-year-old land of culture.

The rice fields in Tam Coc have been voted as one of the five most beautiful rice fields in Vietnam. The most impressive and attractive time in Tam Coc is around the end of May and the beginning of June. At that time, the golden color of the rice fields is brilliant, stretching shimmeringly, along with the fragrant grass and flowers along the Ngo Dong River, flowing under the majestic limestone mountains, adding to the beauty, geological and geomorphological value, cultural and historical value of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, with traces of prehistoric people still intact.

Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 with the theme "The Golden Color of Tam Coc-Trang An" is expected to take place over eight days. The opening ceremony was held on the morning of May 27 at a vivid live stage set up on the golden rice fields of Tam Coc in the Tam Coc-Bich Dong tourist area, in Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district.

Previously, in preparation for Tourism Week 2023, local authorities directed tourism businesses and many local people to increase sanitation, collect waste, and take care of Tam Coc fields so that the rice ripens evenly. Many people also actively learn about activities and tourist attractions to guide tourists. Notably, the tourism operator, Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise, will organize the opening of a free "Heritage Bus" from mid-May 2023, to pick up and drop off passengers from Tam Coc Wharf to Hoa Lu Ancient Town in Ninh Binh City and vice versa.

Regarding Tam Coc, it can be seen that the government and each local person here wishes to preserve, contribute and promote tourism in this land to become a typical example in Vietnam and the world. Coming here, visitors can learn more about the values of the cave system, karst limestone mountains, and historical relics related to the Tran Dynasty.

Or cruise on the Ngo Dong River, then suddenly enter the 127m long Ca Cave, Hai Cave and Ba Cave, all with cool ceilings, many beautiful stalactites, captivating people. In the area, there is also Thien Huong Cave, worshiping Mrs. Tran Thi Dung, who taught the people in the region the embroidery craft that has developed to this day; there is Bich Dong, which was called by the ancients as "Nam Thien De Nhi Dong", meaning the second most beautiful cave in the South (after Huong Tich Cave in Huong Pagoda, Hanoi). Bich Dong Pagoda - an ancient pagoda with a strong East Asian style is also a tourist destination.
