The art program "Hue Ao Dai " opened the Community Ao Dai Week - one of the highlights of the 2025 Summer Festival, which officially opened on the evening of June 6 at the An Dinh Palace heritage space.

Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, along with representatives of international organizations, central and local ministries and agencies, along with a large number of guests and residents came to enjoy the art program.

With the theme “The flow of history and eternal beauty”, the program seemed to lead viewers through the historical stages of the Ao Dai, from ancient to modern with unique, creative Ao Dai collections, imbued with tradition but no less innovative. Each Ao Dai in the show night is a slice of culture, an image of the homeland, a breath of the nation.

There, viewers are immersed in collections of ancient Northern costumes, Ao Ngu Than, Nhat Binh, and Southern Ao Dai. Interspersed are collections of contemporary and modern materials, wedding Ao Dai, etc.

Not only stopping at visual performance, the program also blends with music and dance - sweet love songs, graceful dances like the soft beat of silk. Just like that, the story of Ao Dai will not only be told through fabric, but also through the hearts of those who love Hue and Vietnamese culture.

In addition, the program also included a cultural exchange between East Asia and Vietnam. There, Vietnamese Ao Dai stood side by side with Japanese Kimono, Korean Hanbok and Chinese Long Robe. All of this became a splendid art program, embellishing Hue heritage.

After the performance, the Community Ao Dai Week will continue with many events and art programs lasting until June 15.
