Multinational companies like Samsung are making a positive contribution by turning training programs into personalized journeys, helping young people not only learn knowledge but also find passion and real opportunities. With Samsung Solve for Tomorrow (SFT) and Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC), thousands of Vietnamese students have turned their dreams into reality.
Samsung Solve for Tomorrow (SFT): Where creativity starts from small ideas
Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, launched in Vietnam in 2019, is not only a competition but also a "playground" to inspire the STEM spirit for students aged 12-18. Since 2019, the program has become a launching pad for more than 475,000 students and teachers, with nearly 7,500 entries recorded by 2024.
Participating in the competition, students will apply STEM knowledge to turn their small ideas into practical models with the support of instructors and experts from the program.
Recently, the Top 50 best teams of the competition have just completed the product development round and are anxiously waiting for the results of the Top 16 best teams entering the Final Round. However, regardless of the results, for the students, the greatest joy is having the opportunity to gain more useful technological knowledge, serving for the future.
Vu Khanh Linh - Class 8A3 - Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, a member of a team in the TOP 50, excitedly shared: "The two months participating in the Product Development Round were two months in which we truly matured. Not only did we learn how to turn ideas into reality, we also trained in soft skills to become more confident. Whether we make it to the Finals or not, this is the most valuable experience for us."
Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC): High-tech skills training for youth
While SFT focuses on basic innovation, SIC aims to equip young people from high school to university age, especially students, with specialized skills. As Samsung's global ICT education program, SIC offers courses on AI, IoT, Big Data and programming, helping students access high-tech jobs.
Returning from the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) 2025 Program Closing Ceremony organized by Samsung Vietnam in mid-September in Hanoi , members of the DTU-TT team, Duy Tan University, Da Nang - the winner of Group B of the Samsung Innovation Tech Challenge, were still overwhelmed with joy.
Bui Thi Bich Hieu - Member of DTU-TT team, said: "The Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) program is truly a valuable foundation, equipping us with modern and practical knowledge about AI, Machine Learning and IoT. More importantly, winning this competition gives us a strong motivation to continue nurturing our passion for technology. The team will continue to build research projects with practical applications, aiming to solve problems of life and society. Furthermore, we hope to have the opportunity to participate in international projects, access the most advanced technologies, thereby bringing knowledge and experience back to develop domestic technology".
The Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) project for the 2024-2025 school year has recorded positive results with nearly 7,000 students and teachers participating, deployed in 69 schools including junior high schools, high schools and universities in 10/34 provinces and cities across the country, with nearly 40,626 hours of teaching in 249 classrooms and 9,534 hours of E-learning completed. Since its launch in 2019, nearly 20,000 students and teachers have been trained and developed high-tech capacity from the Samsung Innovation Campus project of Samsung Vietnam.
