It is forecasted that Van Don International Airport and Cat Bi International Airport are two airports directly affected by the storm. The Civil Aviation Authority has requested units there to deploy 24/7 duty, closely monitor weather developments, and ensure the safety of infrastructure systems, stations, vehicles, and technical equipment.

For other airports such as Noi Bai, Tho Xuan, Vinh, Dien Bien , although not yet in the direct affected area, they are also required to proactively update information and be ready to respond when the storm has unusual developments.

The Civil Aviation Authority assigned the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to review and inspect the infrastructure and communication systems at airports in the affected areas to promptly detect and handle incidents and damages (if any), ensuring safety for flight operations.

Plans to prevent storms, floods, and clear water flows are also required to be implemented synchronously to limit damage to infrastructure and quickly restore operations after the storm.

At airports under construction such as Cat Bi and Vinh, the Civil Aviation Authority requires investors and contractors to clearly identify technical stopping points to promptly suspend construction when the weather turns bad, and at the same time take measures to protect works and equipment, ensure safety and minimize damage caused by storms.

The Department also requested airlines and flight assurance service providers to closely monitor the storm's developments in order to adjust flight schedules and plans accordingly, ensuring absolute safety for passengers and vehicles.

Aviation meteorological facilities are required to increase the provision of continuous and accurate weather forecasts and warnings to serve flight operations.

The Northern Airports Authority has strengthened supervision of response deployment at relevant airports, ensuring smooth communication with the Department's Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue Command Committee and other units in the industry.

The Civil Aviation Authority also noted that after the storm weakens and makes landfall, the Northern and North Central regions are still likely to experience heavy rain, with potential risks of flooding and affecting aviation activities.
