Late on October 7, many public schools announced that students would study online. This is the third consecutive day that students have not come to school. These schools include Foreign Language Specialized High School (Cau Giay), Nguyen Hue Specialized High School (Ha Dong), Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School (Bac Tu Liem), Le Quy Don Secondary School (Cau Giay)...

In an announcement from the Foreign Language High School, the school said that although the rain has decreased in Hanoi , the weather is still complicated, many areas are still flooded, and the school is concerned that it will affect traffic. Therefore, to ensure the safety of students, the school maintains online learning.

Many private schools also decided to let students take a break from primary school and study online at secondary and high school levels, such as Luong The Vinh,FPT , Marie Curie, and Le Quy Don schools.

On the contrary, some schools have allowed students to return to school. Located on the same Luu Huu Phuoc street, Le Quy Don students study online, Lomonosov students go to school in person. The water on the roads and streets leading to these two schools has receded significantly.

According to the school year calendar, many private schools have entered the mid-term exam period.

Previously, on October 6, the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training allowed school principals to proactively decide on learning methods depending on actual weather conditions. This helps schools make more accurate decisions based on traffic and weather conditions in their areas.
