The rate of students achieving good training results reached 99.5%, an increase of 2.1% compared to the previous school year, the rate of students with good academic performance reached 65%.

The school continues to achieve high results in nurturing excellent students: in the provincial-level 9th ​​grade excellent student competition, the school won 89 prizes (4 more than the previous school year, including 6 students winning first prizes); in the city-level excellent student competition, the school won 361 prizes (46 more than the previous school year, including 28 first prizes, 9 more than the previous school year).

The number and quality of national and international competitions increased compared to the previous school year, with a total of 351 medals, including 41 national gold medals, 2 gold medals and 1 international silver medal, 2 students won first prize in the national IOE English competition. 100% of students passed the entrance exam to high schools, of which the entrance exam rate to Lao Cai Specialized High School was 83.2% (an increase of 4.8% compared to the previous school year).

Entering the 2025-2026 school year, the school has 778 students in 20 classes. Teachers and students of the school strive to focus on building a key school for educational quality in the province; striving to be a typical unit in implementing innovative activities such as digital transformation, building smart schools, and international integration.
