Opening of advanced Khmer language training class in An Giang province's armed forces

On the morning of November 6, at Regiment 893, the An Giang Provincial Military Command coordinated with Victory Foreign Language - Information Technology Center (Tra Vinh University) to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 advanced Khmer language training class.

Attending the opening ceremony were Colonel Cao Minh Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of An Giang Provincial Military Command; Dr. Cao Thi Hong Cam, Director of Victory Foreign Language - Information Technology Center ( Tra Vinh University); teachers and 35 students who are officers and professional soldiers of agencies and units of the provincial armed forces.

Colonel Cao Minh Tam delivered the opening speech of the class.

In his opening speech, Colonel Cao Minh Tam emphasized that training in ethnic languages ​​and knowledge of the Khmer ethnic group is a practical requirement, contributing to helping officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces get closer to the Khmer people. From there, it will effectively carry out mass mobilization work, strengthen the great national unity bloc, and consolidate the people's trust in the Party, the State and the army.

According to the plan, the class will consolidate and improve listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in Khmer; and train communication methods and skills, propaganda and mass mobilization in Khmer for staff. The class will take place from November 6 to December 31, 2025.
