The conference was held online to the police of communes, wards and special zones in the province. At the An Giang Provincial Police bridge, Colonel Bui Tan An, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police chaired the conference.

Colonel Bui Tan An said that currently, the situation of crimes and law violations related to weapons, explosives, support tools and fireworks is complicated; especially the situation of illegal production, trading, storage and use of weapons, homemade fireworks, explosives in cyberspace and across borders. Therefore, organizing in-depth training is very necessary to help officers and soldiers grasp the provisions of the law, improve management capacity, promptly detect, prevent and effectively handle violations...

During the day, the trainees were informed by officers of Department 3, Department of Administrative Police for Social Order about the key contents of the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Support Tools; and decrees and circulars guiding its implementation.

At the same time, update new points and professional procedures in the management, inspection, registration, recall and destruction of weapons, explosives, support tools and fireworks.

The reporters also analyzed and clarified difficulties and problems at the grassroots level, shared good models and experiences in management and handling of violations related to this field.
