Ready for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung, Head of the Provincial High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee, shared: "One of the requirements of the provincial leaders for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam is to prepare carefully, teachers and invigilators must have a firm grasp of the profession, and candidates must strictly follow the regulations. Along with that, relevant departments, branches and localities must coordinate smoothly and responsibly, for an exam that ensures absolute safety and improves quality."

Ready facilities

Compared to previous years, this year's exam has the largest number of candidates, the most test scores, and the largest number of staff and teachers mobilized to invigilate and grade the exam ever.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training (DET) Do Dang Bao Linh said that the whole province has 64 testing sites, including 62 testing sites for candidates taking the new General Education Program in 2018 and 2 testing sites for candidates taking the General Education Program in 2006. All testing sites ensure basic conditions such as good facilities, convenient locations for security, safety and convenience for candidates to travel closest to the testing site.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong said that this year's exam has the 5th largest number of candidates in the country, so the exam organization process must continue to be strictly followed, closely following the exam regulations. It is necessary to assign tasks to members of the provincial exam steering committee in the direction of clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities and ensuring efficiency. Absolute safety must be ensured in all aspects during the exam organization process, including printing, organizing and grading the exam.

Principal of Ngo Si Lien High School Trinh Van Thinh (Trang Bom District) said that every year the school is chosen as the high school graduation exam site for high school and continuing education candidates, so the preparation process is not surprising. However, the school is not subjective but cautious in every stage of preparation, in which the most important room is the exam site chairman's room, which is also the room for storing exam papers and test papers. The exam papers have been installed with 24/24-hour surveillance cameras, have a full backup power supply and data.

Meanwhile, at the Nhon Trach High School exam site (Nhon Trach district), 10 days before the graduation exam, in addition to preparing the facilities, the school coordinated with the electricity industry to check the entire power supply system from the transformer station to the exam site president's offices and exam rooms. Broken light bulbs and electric fans were replaced to ensure adequate light and ventilation, helping exam candidates feel comfortable. In addition, the school contracted with a catering unit to serve the staff and teachers from other schools who came to perform exam supervision duties, ensuring food safety and hygiene.

According to Dong Nai Electricity Company Limited, before the exam, the electricity sector sent technical teams to check and review the entire electrical system of the exam sites. For schools that have backup generators, technical staff will support the inspection of the operation situation, and in cases where there are no generators, the company will support. During the exam days, the electricity sector will not cut off power to repair and maintain the power lines in areas where exam sites are organized.

Do not be subjective in every stage of organization

The 2025 high school graduation exam has many new points, larger in scale than previous years, so the province has directed early and thoughtful preparation. In addition to the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial People's Committee has directed many departments, branches and localities to participate in organizing the exam carefully. Specifically, the Department of Education and Training has mobilized more than 5,600 teachers and staff to be invigilators, nearly 320 staff to be leaders of exam sites and exam site secretaries. In addition, the Provincial Police and the Department of Health mobilized more than 500 officers and staff to ensure security, order and health for all exam sites.

Director of the Department of Education and Training Truong Thi Kim Hue, Deputy Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, said that in order for the officers and teachers to be mobilized to perform their duties well at the exam, the department has deployed training for each department, including training for key officers at the exam sites since mid-June, and will continue to thoroughly grasp it again on June 24. For officers and teachers performing exam invigilation duties, the exam councils will conduct professional training on June 25 at the exam sites. All officers and teachers mobilized to perform exam invigilation duties must undergo a test of exam invigilation skills before officially starting their duties.

Accompanying the Department of Education and Training and candidates in this year's high school graduation exam, the Provincial Police have deployed many plans to ensure absolute safety for the entire exam process. Accordingly, in the past time, the Provincial Police have deployed professional measures in a synchronous manner such as: assigning officers and professional equipment to ensure absolute safety in printing and transporting exam papers; deploying forces to ensure security and order in areas where exam sites are located; developing plans to ensure smooth traffic safety during exam days. Officers assigned to work at exam printing and copying points, exam organization and grading points must all have a firm grasp of the regulations and strictly perform their assigned tasks.

The 2025 high school graduation exam takes place at a special time, when the whole province is urgently implementing the merger of provinces, implementing the model of 2-level provincial and communal government, and eliminating the district level. Therefore, in the past time, the province has directed localities to pay attention and provide maximum support to the testing sites in the area. Districts, wards and communes absolutely must not, because of focusing on arranging the apparatus, fail to coordinate and support the high school graduation exam sites organized in their area.

Chairman of Bien Hoa City People's Committee Nguyen Phong An said that the city has directed wards and communes to send officials to high schools in the area to grasp the situation, ready to support schools under permitted conditions, contributing to the successful organization of the high school graduation exam in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Vinh Cuu District Party Secretary Le Thanh My said that there are 3 high school graduation exam sites in the district. The District Party Committee has directed the District People's Committee to visit and support the schools both materially and spiritually, especially for candidates from Phu Ly and Ma Da communes who have to travel far to the district center to take the exam at Tri An High School (Vinh An town).
