Preparing for the Exhibition "Cultural Heritage of Vietnam's Seas and Islands" and "Binh Thuan Street Culture Week 2023", this morning (August 24), Mr. Vo Thanh Huy - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism as head of the delegation inspected the implementation of exhibition booths on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street and the stage area of ​​the Provincial Cultural Center.

Mr. Vo Thanh Huy - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, together with officers in charge of departments and centers under the Department, inspected the preparations at the exhibition booths.

Through inspection, the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the contents of each activity are being implemented according to the set schedule. In which, the booths serving the exhibition "Cultural Heritage of Vietnam's Seas and Islands" of 22 provinces have basically completed the framework by the morning of August 24, and the content by the afternoon of August 24 and August 25, the provinces will put artifacts and images on display. With the active participation of the participating units, they will be able to meet the opening ceremony on the evening of August 27 in time.

It is known that the exhibition "Cultural Heritage of Vietnam's Seas and Islands" is chaired by the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and coordinated by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan. The exhibition aims to introduce, promote and honor the values ​​of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and unique tourism products of Vietnam's seas and islands. Thereby contributing to affirming the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland; at the same time, strengthening education on revolutionary traditions, further enhancing patriotism, national pride, and sense of responsibility for the homeland's seas and islands.

At the general exhibition area with the theme of Vietnam's sea and island cultural heritage, 270 images and artifacts about Vietnam's sea and island are introduced, including four contents: Documents and artifacts about Vietnam's sea and island culture in history; building and protecting Vietnam's sea and island sovereignty; displaying artistic photos about Vietnam's sea and island; Vietnamese youth with the homeland's sea and island. As the host, Binh Thuan will introduce to the people and tourists the typical images of the sea and island culture in the province and the contribution of sea and island culture to tourism.

Also during the period from August 28 to September 3, Binh Thuan will hold the Binh Thuan Street Culture Week 2023, with many attractive contents such as the opening ceremony of Binh Thuan Street Culture Week 2023; Binh Thuan Colorful Street Festival; art exchange activities "Sea, Island - Heart of Vietnam"; display and introduction of tourism products; street music... These activities will complement each other, bringing attractiveness and richness to people and tourists when participating in the event. Thereby contributing to promoting the development of the tourism industry, as well as domestic and international investors to the land of "blue sea, white sand, golden sunshine".
