To prepare for the first day of work, Ms. Phan Thi Dam, Deputy Head of the Personnel and Organization Department (Provincial People's Procuracy), and her colleagues carefully sorted and packed each set of files belonging to the entire agency's officials and employees into cardboard boxes. Printers and computers were also removed from their desks and packed into boxes for transport from the Tuy Hoa headquarters to the new headquarters in Buon Ma Thuot.
Ms. Dam said: “Leaving a familiar workplace is a bit of a nostalgic feeling, but we are all ready to work in the new place. To quickly adapt to the job, we have proactively researched the specifics of our new workplace and the issues related to our areas of responsibility. The new facility has also prepared accommodation and workspaces thoughtfully, so everyone feels at ease.”

With a spirit of readiness and determination to perform well in her new work environment and new facility, in the last days of June 2025, Ms. Ho Thi Minh Nguyen, specialist in the Economic and Social Affairs Department and accountant of the Farmers' Support Fund (Provincial Farmers' Association), hurriedly arranged and prepared files and documents, completing her assigned tasks before moving to her new workplace.
Ms. Nguyen confided: "As an official and Party member, I am ready to accept the tasks assigned by the agency and unit. To be able to arrive on time for the first working day, I and my family members arrived in Buon Ma Thuot ward early to settle into our accommodation and receive my duties at the new unit. Together with my new colleagues, I will strive, share, and do well the work assigned by my superiors."
"Major policy decisions inevitably involve some reservations, but this represents a breakthrough in development thinking. The most important thing is to prioritize national and ethnic interests above all else. Therefore, all officials, civil servants, and workers in the province need to continue to strive and contribute their dedication, abilities, and experience to the activities of the new Dak Lak province," - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Dak Lak. |
That is also the mindset of many officials, civil servants, and employees of various agencies and units. The relocation is a huge change, but everyone has proactively set out to move.
The former Phu Yen Department of Internal Affairs has 62 out of 79 employees working at the provincial administrative center since July 1st. Every official and employee, from the director to the staff, has prepared themselves mentally and emotionally to enter the new system.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh My, Head of the Administrative Reform and Archival Affairs Department (Department of Internal Affairs), shared: “Being far from a familiar and stable workplace is not easy at all. However, recognizing that these difficulties are only temporary challenges, I and my colleagues always uphold a high sense of responsibility and always look forward to fulfilling our assigned tasks.”
Upon being assigned to a new position with different responsibilities compared to her previous duties, Ms. Phan Thi Ha Phuoc, Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, proactively sought out and conducted in-depth research on the field she was about to take charge of.
Ms. Phuoc stated: “For me, changing to a new position in a new administrative unit is not just a change in geographical location, but also requires rapid adaptation to successfully complete assigned tasks. The new position is a challenge, but it also motivates me to change my mindset and quickly adapt to new requirements. Therefore, I determined that everything needed to be proactive from an early stage so that I wouldn't be caught off guard when starting my new duties.”

Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Tuyet, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province, said: "Following the conclusions of the Central Committee, the entire political system of the former Phu Yen province has responded and implemented them very decisively. For officials and civil servants at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province, due to the shortened timeframe compared to the initial plan, some officials and civil servants are somewhat worried or concerned about initial difficulties such as living conditions and transportation. However, generally speaking, everyone is enthusiastic, eager to learn, quickly adapt to the new working environment, and aim for high results for the overall development of the new Dak Lak province. They see this as an opportunity to train and contribute. We believe that with the experience accumulated and demonstrated over the past period, officials, civil servants, and workers of the former Phu Yen province will make many contributions to the overall development of the new province in the coming time."
According to statistics, nearly 700 out of more than 1,900 officials and civil servants in the Party and government of the former Phu Yen province will be working at the new administrative center of Dak Lak province starting July 1st. This change marks an important milestone in the career of each official, civil servant, and employee, but everyone is ready for the new journey, in a new workplace, with the determination to fulfill the new expectations that the people have placed on them for a new phase of national development.
