Ho Chi Minh City honors 221 typical "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in 2025

On November 19, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to commend typical examples of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in 2025, commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Party's traditional mass mobilization work (October 15, 1930 - October 15, 2025).

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh reviewed the Party's 95-year tradition of mass mobilization work.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh once affirmed: "If mass mobilization is poor, everything will be poor. If mass mobilization is skillful, everything will be successful."

Inheriting and promoting President Ho Chi Minh's ideology on mass mobilization work, in recent times, the political system at all levels in Ho Chi Minh City has strongly innovated its methods of operation, especially after the process of administrative unit arrangement. Localities, agencies and units focus on promoting the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit", thereby strengthening people's trust in the Party and the State.

Mass mobilization work has achieved many practical results, making important contributions to building the city into a smart, sustainable urban area, a pioneer in digital transformation and green transformation, aiming towards the role of an economic - industrial - service center of the region.

Proud of its 95-year tradition, the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement has developed extensively and substantially, attracting the active participation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and people, making an important contribution to the overall development of the city.

In 2025, the city's political system at all levels will continue to pay attention to directing, implementing, and launching extensively, with many meaningful, practical, and effective activities and tasks, promoting the strength and resources of the people. This is a vivid demonstration of the spirit of solidarity and consensus of cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life joining hands to contribute to changing the face of the city, completing the tasks of economic - cultural - social development, national defense - security, especially the merger of administrative units and the implementation of 2-level local government.

At the conference, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee commended 159 collectives and 62 typical individuals of "Skillful Mass Mobilization" at the city level in 2025. These are typical advanced examples, despite different circumstances and tasks, who have continuously contributed to the good implementation of mass mobilization work, creating consensus and mobilizing resources from the people in carrying out the common political tasks of the city.
