Van Dinh spreads the power of great solidarity

Many practical works and projects such as building solidarity houses, providing livelihoods, caring for disadvantaged households, praising typical examples, etc., have contributed to affirming the core role of the Front in gathering people's strength and consolidating the great solidarity bloc of the entire people in the area.

To practically celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day and the Hanoi City Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, from the beginning of November, the Van Dinh Commune Fatherland Front consulted the Party Committee's Standing Committee to develop a plan to organize a series of meaningful activities, spreading the spirit of solidarity throughout the community.

From November 6 to 18, social security movements and activities were simultaneously deployed in 30/30 villages, such as: Launching the Peak Month for the Poor; mobilizing the "For the Poor" Fund in 2025; organizing the National Great Unity Day; groundbreaking and handing over great unity houses; giving livelihoods and support gifts to households in difficult circumstances.

More than 5,000 households in the commune participated in the Great Unity Day in residential areas. Villages simultaneously organized solemn ceremonies, reviewing the glorious traditions of the Fatherland Front ; evaluating the results of building cultural life, building new rural areas...

The festival included dozens of performances by the local people. Many villages organized “Unity Meals” with the participation of most households, creating solidarity and harmony in the community.

At the Great Unity Festival, the Commune People's Committee commended 90 collectives and individuals who have made positive contributions to the community; the villages also rewarded 20 collectives and 103 exemplary households with a total budget of 28 million VND.

In particular, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the commune presented 30 sets of computers and scanners to 30 villages, with a total cost of 1.2 billion VND, to promote the goal of building smart villages and digital cultural houses, creating convenience for people to access and use public services right at the grassroots level.

With the spirit of "leaving no one behind", the commune Fatherland Front has started construction of 5 houses; inaugurated and handed over 1 solidarity house to poor households in the villages: Nguyen Xa, Phi Trach, Hau Xa, Hoang Duong, Dong Duong, Tu Duong. Each house is supported with 50 million VND, the total cost of 300 million VND is taken from the commune's "For the Poor" Fund and the contribution of working days from relatives and the community.

The new houses are a support for families to stabilize their lives and gain confidence to move forward. The commune leaders directly visited, encouraged and hoped that the households would continue to make efforts to overcome difficulties and implement the Party and State's policies.

Along with housing support, the Fatherland Front of Van Dinh commune also donated 5 motorbikes as working vehicles and 5 breeding cows with a total cost of 227.5 million VND, helping households have sustainable livelihoods. The commune also mobilized more than 100 million VND from social sources, giving 202 gifts to near-poor and disadvantaged households; the villages gave more than 100 gifts and rewarded more than 200 exemplary households, with a total cost of more than 43 million VND.

Ms. Le Thi Nga, a poor household in Van Cao village, emotionally shared: “My family has been lacking a stable livelihood for many years, so when the Commune Fatherland Front supported breeding cows, we were very happy. This is not only a valuable asset, but also an opportunity for the family to have more income and gradually improve. I would like to thank the Party Committee, the government and the Fatherland Front for their attention; the family will try to take good care of the cows to develop the herd and stabilize our lives."

Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Van Dinh Commune, Nguyen Hanh Van, emphasized that the results achieved on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day clearly demonstrated the role of the Front in gathering people's strength and mobilizing social resources for social security. The Fatherland Front of the commune continues to maintain housing support, provide livelihoods, care for disadvantaged households, and consolidate the political system in residential areas.

The series of meaningful activities vividly demonstrate the strength of great solidarity - an important resource to help Van Dinh commune develop sustainably. Each project, each gift, each smile in the Great Solidarity Festival is a brick that builds people's trust in the Party, the government and the Fatherland Front, contributing to building a close-knit community, so that the flame of solidarity always burns brightly in Van Dinh homeland.
