
Currently, prolonged heavy rain is still causing deep flooding in many localities of Khanh Hoa province, continuing to seriously affect people's lives and property.
Faced with that situation, the Command of Region 4 mobilized more than 400 officers and soldiers along with 12 military vehicles, 20 boats and 20 special vehicles to support and help the people of Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces cope with the floods. The supported necessities include: 900 kg of dry food, 50 boxes of instant noodles, 30 boxes of purified water and other rescue materials.

This is a practical activity to share the difficulties and losses of people in the context of consecutive natural disasters. At the destinations, the working group met with local authorities to visit, encourage and share with the people, and at the same time affirmed the readiness of forces and means when the locality requests support.
Local leaders expressed their deep gratitude for the timely and practical attention and support of the Naval Region 4 Command, and highly appreciated the vanguard spirit and responsibility of officers and soldiers when the people were in difficulty. This activity continues to affirm the vanguard role of the Naval Region 4 in mass mobilization and policy work, enhancing the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers" in the hearts of the people.

In Gia Lai province, from November 17 to 20, the police force evacuated more than 12,000 people and rescued over 500 cases to safe shelters and is continuing rescue efforts.
On November 20, Major General Le Quang Nhan, Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police, directly inspected and directed police officers and soldiers to continue performing their duties in vulnerable areas, heavily flooded in Quy Nhon Bac ward, encouraged officers and soldiers to overcome all difficulties, further promote the sense of responsibility, proactively coordinate with local authorities, military forces and people to carry out rescue work, help people evacuate, and overcome the consequences of floods.
Major General Le Quang Nhan requested the working groups to continue promoting the spirit of "serving the people", absolutely ensuring the safety of the lives and property of the people and the forces while performing their duties.

Also on November 20, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee continued to request the arrangement of permanent personnel to monitor the current status of landslides and coordinate traffic diversion on the section Km226+600 to Km226+800 (Mimosa Pass) and the section Km249+932 to Km249+968, National Highway 20 in the province, implementing safety measures for people and vehicles traveling through the route. Xuan Huong Ward People's Committee - Da Lat coordinated with relevant agencies to resolutely organize relocation (forced relocation if necessary), immediately evacuate households in the foothills, mountains, and areas with steep slopes and dangers in the above-mentioned landslide area, to absolutely ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
After evacuating people from the landslide area, the authorities are responsible for maintaining a 24/7 guard post, absolutely not allowing people to return until safety is ensured. At the same time, the Civil Defense Department, the Police, and the Military Command will arrange forces to be on duty 24/7, organize traffic flow, be ready to participate in search and rescue, and guard the construction area to coordinate with the Department of Construction in the process of overcoming the incident.
