Hung Lo Rice Noodle Cooperative operates effectively on the basis of the agricultural and food processing village of Hung Lo commune, Viet Tri city.
Hung Lo Commune, Viet Tri City is not only known as a famous ancient land but also famous as a locality with many traditional craft villages such as: Rice noodle village, Chung cake village, Giay cake village... The processing materials of the craft village are mainly purchased in the commune and neighboring areas. Through the skillful hands of the villagers, agricultural products such as sticky rice, rice are processed into: Rice noodles, pho noodles, Chung cake, vermicelli, rice paper... becoming goods with high economic value, some of which are sold in the countryside market, most of which are exported to localities in and outside the province.
Notably, Hung Lo Rice Noodle Cooperative operates effectively on the basis of the local agricultural and food processing craft village. Up to now, the Cooperative produces and consumes an average of two tons of noodles per day, with an annual revenue of about 14 billion VND, creating regular jobs for 50 workers with an average income of 6 million VND/person/month. The Banh Chung and Banh Giay craft village continues to develop with 35 participating households, with an average income of 5-6 people/month.

Promote potential and strengths
In recent years, the Provincial People's Committee has focused on directing activities to expand production and processing to ensure food safety conditions in livestock and crop farming, strengthen linkages in production and product consumption for farmers; at the same time, transfer new technical advances, contributing to the agricultural restructuring project and building new rural areas. Thanks to that, the province's agricultural production has achieved remarkable results, forming a number of concentrated production areas, including key agricultural products, typical products and potential agricultural products.
Currently, production according to safe and sustainable standards continues to expand: The area of crops certified by VietGAP has reached nearly 2,000 hectares; the area of agricultural production in the direction of organic and circular, of which the area certified by organic has reached 24 hectares; grapefruit production in the direction of safety has reached over 3,000 hectares; the area of main crops produced according to safe processes, applying integrated pest management IPM, integrated crop management ICM has reached 80%; 251 planting area codes have been established, granted and managed with a total area of 4.5 thousand hectares; the rate of livestock produced according to good production practices, disease safety, food safety for pigs has reached 40%, chickens have reached 39.7%. The processing industry in agriculture has been focused on development, contributing to solving the output of agricultural products, creating jobs, and improving the lives of rural areas.
In the province, there are 235 establishments producing, processing and trading agricultural and food products that have been granted food safety certificates or certificates of application of advanced quality management programs (HACCP, ISO 22000). The number of products certified by OCOP has increased with 237 OCOP products of 3 stars or higher.
Linking in production and consumption of agricultural products in the province has been actively implemented. Currently, there are 108 safe agricultural, forestry and fishery food supply chains, including 59 animal-based product chains and 49 plant-based product chains with 36 enterprises, 57 cooperatives, cooperative groups, and 15 individual business households participating. Many production facilities have products sold in modern supermarket systems such as: Go, Coop mart, Winmart...
Tea products of UT Tea Investment and Development Company Limited are prepared for sale to the market.
However, the production, processing and consumption of agricultural products associated with the development of chain-linked production chains is still slow, the scale of implementation is small, so it has not created a sustainable economic value chain of products, and the quality control models have not been widely replicated, so the output of safe food consumed through distribution and business systems is still limited. Information and promotion of safe production models, safe product supply chains, and products certified as safe are not many, so consumers do not have enough information to be able to identify and distinguish safe products from other products.
Comrade Do Anh Tuan - Director of the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality Management said: In order to ensure security, food safety and enhance the competitiveness of agricultural, forestry and fishery products of the province in the domestic market and towards export, in the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and localities will continue to direct a strong shift in thinking from agricultural production to agricultural economy, promoting restructuring towards the development of ecological agriculture, green agriculture, and circular agriculture. In which, focusing on implementing land consolidation, accumulation, land linkage in agricultural production, forming specialized areas, concentrated commodity production; attracting and encouraging enterprises to invest in agriculture and rural areas; prioritizing enterprises with potential and high technology; promoting the development of farm economy, increasing the scale of household economy, promoting the development of collective economy, diversifying forms of production linkage and product consumption. Attracting enterprises to invest in preservation, preliminary processing, and production-linked processing technology, associated with the consumption of products in concentrated commodity production areas; applying advanced quality management systems: VietGAP, HACCP, ISO... Combining production organization according to the chain, increasing added value. Promoting trade promotion activities, supporting market information for each product. Supporting the building and development of brands and geographical indications for agricultural products with strengths: Tea, vegetables, multi-spurred chickens, specialty fish...
