Implementing Plan No. 368/KH-UBND dated December 14, 2024 of the City People's Committee on industrial promotion in Hanoi City in 2025, from November 27 to November 30, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade organized the Capital Rural Industrial Goods Fair in 2025 in Trung Gia commune.
With a scale of about 200 booths (standard) of rural industrial production establishments in Hanoi, the 2025 Capital Rural Industrial Goods Fair is organized with the aim of supporting businesses to introduce, promote and consume rural industrial products; creating conditions for participating units to connect trade, expand cooperation links in production, processing and consumption of goods.
The products displayed at the fair are products of rural industrial production and trading establishments in the city. The products on display must ensure quality, be diverse in design and type, attract and create an impression on visitors and traders at the fair.
The design and arrangement of exhibition space at the fair must be scientific , impressive and aesthetic. Encourage and support businesses to design and decorate booths in open spaces to create impressions and attract visitors. The preparation of products, booth decoration, reception and transaction with customers of the units participating in the fair must ensure professionalism.
According to the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the city currently has more than 1,350 craft villages and villages with crafts, of which 318 are recognized according to the criteria of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment . In recent years, industrial promotion programs have supported many rural industrial establishments to innovate equipment, improve production processes, and apply advanced technology.
Thanks to technological innovation, labor productivity at these facilities has increased by 25-30%, the rate of defective products has decreased to less than 5%, and production costs and energy consumption have been significantly reduced. Some products have met European export standards (CE) and green product certification, contributing to improving the competitiveness of rural enterprises.
In recent times, Hanoi has also had many products voted as outstanding rural industrial products at the national level, contributing to the export turnover of handicraft products reaching more than 3 billion USD/year. Establishments with products voted as outstanding rural industrial products have received many incentives from the industrial promotion program such as support for machinery investment, participation in domestic and international fair programs.
The 2025 Capital Rural Industrial Goods Fair is expected to bring opportunities to promote and introduce products; boost the consumption of rural industrial goods; expand cooperation in production, processing and distribution; and move towards forming a sustainable production - consumption chain for local products in particular and Hanoi in general.
At the same time, continue to affirm Hanoi's role in promoting rural industrial development, promoting typical products and creating momentum to spread to localities in industrial promotion work.
