At around 3:20 a.m. this morning, July 24, the 43-meter-long taluy fence wall of Duc Long bus station (Hoi Phu ward, Gia Lai province) collapsed onto Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan's house at 39/22 Ly Nam De.

Records at the scene at 8am this morning showed that the warehouse area of Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan's house was completely damaged by a wall and a large amount of concrete.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan reported the incident to the authorities.

According to initial estimates, Mr. Tuan said that the damage was estimated at hundreds of millions of dong, including a 5m high, 43m long embankment wall system, 3 Air Blade motorbikes, air conditioners, generators and many other valuable items of the family. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any human damage , and the authorities are currently investigating to clarify the incident.

According to the homeowner, during the rainy season, water from Duc Long bus station often flows into the warehouse area. The family has complained many times, but the bus station representative has not responded yet.

Due to the impact of storm No. 3 and 4 in the past 4 days, the weather in the western part of Gia Lai province has been raining heavily, so facing the risk of the soil losing its cohesion, causing landslides in the main house area, the Hoi Phu ward police force has supported the movement of furniture.
