From July 1, 2025, the whole country has operated a 2-level local government (provincial and communal levels); after the merger, the whole country has 34 provinces and cities; the names of wards/communes have also been changed after the merger.
Many schools change logos and update new addresses after merger on websites and fanpages
From July 1, 2025, Tran Hung Dao Primary School, Cau Ong Lanh Ward, new Ho Chi Minh City (including Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong Province, old Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province), formerly Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, has now updated its new logo. The logo clearly prints the name of the new ward, and at the same time clearly states the current address on the introduction section of the school's fanpage, for parents' convenience in the process of contacting and working.

On the morning of July 5, 2025, we visited the official websites of many high schools in the new Ho Chi Minh City. Some schools that have updated their addresses have also seen the new commune/ward addresses have been updated, such as Bui Thi Xuan High School (Ben Thanh Ward); Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School (Xuan Hoa Ward). Marie Curie High School, Xuan Hoa Ward also "updated" this new address on the school's fanpage...

There are still many schools that are keeping the same ward/commune address as before July 1, 2025.
However, until this morning, July 5, 2025, after many parents' feedback, Thanh Nien educational Newspaper reporters tried to access the school's website address as well as the official fanpage ofinstitutions , and found that many educational institutions still keep the same old address, even the old province and city name as before July 1, 2025.
For example, the website of Le Thi Rieng Primary School (now in Hoa Hung Ward, new Ho Chi Minh City) still lists its address in Ward 13, District 10.
On the morning of July 5, the address of Le Thi Rieng Primary School had not been updated on the Electronic Information Portal.

Hope schools quickly update new ward/commune names
Currently, schools all have official websites to publicize information to parents and students. In addition, many schools also have official fanpages to quickly update information, images, events, and official announcements to parents and students on the popular social networking application Facebook.
After July 1, 2025, the two-level local government will be applied nationally, no longer at the district/county level. Parents expect the names of wards/communes and provinces/cities after the merger to be updated and adjusted accurately on the official channels of educational institutions.
Because there will be situations in the same province/city where there are many identical school names, parents need to know exactly which ward/commune the school is located in to distinguish.
This makes it convenient to grasp information, easier for parents and students in the process of contacting work and work. In the digital age, adjusting this information on digital platforms is not difficult and does not take time.
