Tak Po school (village 6, Tra Tap commune, Da Nang city) is spaciously built on a hill in the middle of a vast green grassland, under rows of towering areca trees.
A light afternoon rain was falling on Tak Po. Three female teachers were busy decorating the school in preparation for the opening ceremony to be held tomorrow in the school yard.
She hung the national flag, she hung a banner with the words "Opening Ceremony" printed on it, and she blew up decorative balloons.
The children gathered around the teachers to help arrange tables and chairs, blow up balloons, then dispersed to play in the school yard, their laughter echoing in a corner of the forest.

This year, Ms. Tra Thi Thu, a teacher at Chu Van An Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, who together with students created a special opening ceremony at Tak Po school in 2019, continues to teach children at this school after years of teaching at other schools.
Hurriedly hanging up the banner with the words "Opening Ceremony" printed on it, Ms. Thu and the children arranged the tables and chairs, then together with two kindergarten teachers blew up balloons to decorate.
The day before, the teachers hung the national flag at the gate and pasted flags in front of the classrooms, making the school stand out and look very beautiful.

Ms. Thu said that this new school year the school has two classes, a preschool class taught by two teachers from Phong Lan Kindergarten with 22 children and an elementary class taught by her with 16 students.
To prepare for the opening ceremony, the teachers asked parents to come clean, wipe the desks, chairs, and classroom doors. Then the teachers decorated the school with flags to beautify it, and prepared the backdrop, desks, and chairs for tomorrow morning.
Ms. Thu shared that Tak Po was the first school she worked at after graduating. After moving to other schools, this was the fourth time she returned to this school to teach the children.
"Before, when I taught here, the school was not spacious, but now when I return, the school has been newly built, spacious, clean and beautiful. I am very happy to be back in Tak Po," Ms. Thu confided.
Ms. Ho Thi Ngo, a teacher at Phong Lan Kindergarten, also said that this is her first year working at Tak Po school, so she feels very happy and wants to contribute something to help the children here.
Tomorrow, September 5, will still be a simple, rustic and pure opening ceremony organized by teachers for 38 children in this peaceful remote place.
