After merging and streamlining the administrative apparatus, Vinh City ( Nghe An ) has 6 officials from agencies and units in the area who have submitted applications for early retirement.

On the afternoon of January 2, Mr. Nguyen Van Lu, Deputy Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, said that implementing the Government's general policy on streamlining the administrative apparatus after merger and staff reduction, there were 6 officials in the city's agencies and units who applied for early retirement.

On December 31, Vinh city held a ceremony to announce the establishment of Vinh city (new), Vinh city Party Committee (new) and the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work.

Including Mr. Thai Thanh Ha, Head of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (LĐTB&XH) of Vinh City (old), Mr. Pham Trung Thanh (specialist of the City Party Committee Office), Mr. Le Duc Tho (specialist of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee), Mr. Hoang Dinh Hung (Secretary of the Quang Trung Ward Party Committee), Mr. Tran Quang Dai (Chairman of the Trung Do Ward People's Committee) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (Chairman of the Le Mao Ward Women's Union). These officials all retired and received social insurance benefits from January 1.

One of those who applied for early retirement, Mr. Thai Thanh Ha, Head of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vinh City, said that he had received a retirement decision and received social insurance benefits from January 1 according to his personal wishes. By applying for early retirement 3 years and 6 months, Mr. Ha received more than 500 million VND in subsidies according to current regulations.

“I would like to retire early in accordance with the Government’s general policy of streamlining the administrative apparatus after the merger and reducing staff. I am also getting old, so I would like to retire so that young people with capacity and qualifications can have the opportunity to contribute more,” Mr. Thai Thanh Ha shared.

Previously, Vinh city held a ceremony to announce the establishment of Vinh city (new), Vinh city Party Committee (new), elect the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the People's Council, elect the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee (new) and the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work.
