The center of the 19ha theme water park
The 3/2 Street Urban Area Project has a scale of 96 hectares and a total investment of nearly 37,000 billion VND. The project is developed by Sun Group with the vision of becoming a new symbol of Vung Tau, a place where historical and indigenous cultural values intersect with a modern, sustainable lifestyle.
“This is not just a simple real estate project, but a strong affirmation of the philosophy that Sun Group pursues: creating classy - different - quality ecosystems, contributing to beautifying the lands and raising the status of national tourism ”, Mr. Dam Minh Hai shared.
According to Mr. Dam Minh Hai, to fully exploit the potential of the "golden location", the 3/2 Street Urban Area project is planned into 5 functional zones, including high-rise apartments, low-rise villas, retail complexes, condotel hotels and especially the 19-hectare theme water park, the largest in the Southeast.
The theme water park promises to open up an unprecedented space for entertainment and discovery in Vung Tau, becoming the largest entertainment center in the Southeast coastal region. This park owns record-breaking items such as the tallest twin wave pools in Vietnam (1.8m and 2.4m) and the longest roller coaster in Asia - Pacific (over 300m).
In addition, with the capacity to accommodate about 13,000 residents and 11,000 tourists, 3/2 Street Urban Area is not only an ideal place to live, a large-scale tourist and entertainment destination, but also promises to create thousands of jobs and accommodations for local people, strongly promoting the service - tourism - real estate industries.

Attraction from cultural and historical depth
Mr. Dam Minh Hai added that Ba Ria-Vung Tau province has more than 305km of coastline, many beautiful beaches, a temperate climate and developed tourism infrastructure, making it an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists. In 2024, the province will welcome about 16 million visitors, with tourism revenue reaching VND13,500 billion. In addition to tourism, Ba Ria-Vung Tau is also an important maritime economic center with the largest deep-water port system in Vietnam.
For Vung Tau City in particular, this is a coastal city with deep culture and history, carrying within it great potential for development in tourism, marine economy and urban areas. When welcoming millions of tourists each year, Vung Tau needs many mid- to high-end accommodation products, while promoting the demand for second homes and beach apartments. With a well-planned, synchronous infrastructure and favorable natural conditions, this place deserves to become a strategic investment destination for both the long and medium term.
In recent years, Vung Tau has not only maintained its position as a leading resort destination but has also gradually transformed itself into an important growth pole of the Southeast region and the whole country. This transformation is thanks to strong investment in infrastructure, breakthrough development of the marine economy, and especially the strong direction of the local government.

At the end of 2024, the Provincial People's Committee approved the investment policy for the 3/2 Street Urban Area project. The goal is to build an urban area, develop in the direction of commercialization combined with tourism and ecology associated with natural space, demonstrating the image of a smart, modern urban area, complying with the approved detailed planning and in line with the planning orientation of the province. The total investment cost for the project is expected to be about 35,000 billion VND, the project's operation period is 50 years from the date of land allocation and land lease by the province. On April 26, a land plot of nearly 60 hectares in Ward 10 and Ward 11, Vung Tau City was auctioned for the right to use for the 3/2 Street Urban Area project. Vung Tau Urban Development and Investment Company Limited (Ward 10) was the winning bidder with a price of over VND 7,728 billion (starting price of over VND 7,600 billion). The auction result was also recognized by the Provincial People's Committee. |
