VHO - Thanh Xuan District People's Committee and the Land Acquisition Enforcement Board have just announced the land acquisition enforcement to implement the Project of Restoration and embellishment of the Go Dong Thay historical relic (Thanh Xuan Trung ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi ).
Accordingly, the subjects of enforcement are 61 households and individuals who did not agree to receive support money and hand over the land to implement the project of Restoration and embellishment of the historical relic Go Dong Thay with an area of 4,283m2 of land and constructions on the land.
Of these, there were 52 cases of complete demolition and 9 cases of cutting; including 1 B1 house, 2 G2 houses, 36 G1 houses, and 22 temporary houses.
The location of the enforcement is the land within the land acquisition boundary for site clearance to implement the project of Restoration and embellishment of the historical relic Go Dong Thay (lane 12, Khuat Duy Tien street, Thanh Xuan Trung ward).
It is expected that on May 21, the authorities will organize the compulsory recovery of land and constructions on land from 33 households and individuals. On May 22, the authorities will organize the compulsory recovery of land and constructions on land from 28 households and individuals.
Previously, on April 28, the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan District issued a Decision approving the plan to organize the compulsory land recovery in cases of non-compliance with the handover of the site to implement the Project to restore and embellish the historical relic of Go Dong Thay.
It is known that the historical relic of Go Dong Thay was recognized as a historical relic by the Ministry of Culture - Information - Sports and Tourism (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in Decision No. 993-QD dated September 28, 1990.
According to historical records, the historical event of the Go Dong Thay area took place more than 500 years ago, a long period of time in the history of the nation, nearly 6 centuries have passed.
Today, the Mound of Corpses is a heroic and glorious testament to our people and nation's victory over the Ming invaders in the uprising of national heroes Le Loi and Nguyen Trai.
The Go Dong Thay relic is a valuable document, contributing significantly to the study of the scale and real space of the victory of the Ming army in protecting Dong Quan citadel in 1426, marking the existence of an ancient village - Moc village - around the ancient Thang Long citadel.
Talking to Van Hoa , Mr. Nguyen Manh Dat, Chairman of Thanh Xuan Trung Ward People's Committee, said that on May 7, representatives of the functional agencies of Thanh Xuan district and the ward will continue to organize meetings with people to mobilize and persuade land users in the list of Decisions on compulsory land recovery.
According to Mr. Dat, a total of 63 households and individuals have come to live and work in the relic area. From 2024 to now, the ward has organized many meetings and dialogues to disseminate information to people about site clearance for the implementation of the project to restore and embellish the historical relic of Go Dong Thay, and guide households with sufficient conditions to buy or rent social housing...
To date, 2 households have agreed to receive compensation and hand over land; the remaining 61 households and individuals have not agreed; of which 5 households are being considered to buy resettlement houses, and no cases have registered to rent or buy social housing.
“The land clearance aims to restore and embellish the historical relic of Go Dong Thay, build a park, cultural and historical area,educate traditions, honor the victory of our ancestors, and also beautify the urban landscape of the capital. I hope that people will agree, comply with and abide by the provisions of the law,” said the Chairman of Thanh Xuan Trung Ward People's Committee.
