Many ethnic minority cadres and party members of Viet Hong commune have played a good role as a "bridge" to convey the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws to the people. They actively grasp and promptly reflect the people's thoughts and aspirations to the Party Committee and the government.

As a Tay ethnic, Secretary of Chao village Party Cell Nguyen Viet Bao always clearly identifies his role and responsibility in leading and promoting local socio -economic development. Along with strengthening and building grassroots party organizations, comrade Nguyen Viet Bao and the Chao village Party Cell have focused on leading and directing the people to actively transform the structure of crops and livestock, applying scientific and technical advances in production to improve productivity, quality and economic efficiency per unit area. Under the close direction of the Party Cell, the lives of Chao village people have improved significantly. Up to now, the whole village has 122 households, of which only 2 are poor households, 4 are near-poor households, 100% are cultural families...

Activities to maintain traditional festivals, preserve language, writing, costumes, folk games, etc. are of interest. Many cadres and party members of ethnic minorities also proactively propagate and mobilize people on contents related to preserving and promoting cultural identity associated with the movement to build a cultural life, practice a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and eliminate backward customs.
