Sesko faces culture shock at MU

Benjamin Sesko will face strict rules at Manchester United once he completes his £74m move from RB Leipzig.

Sesko will be Manchester United's next big signing this summer, following the deals for Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.

Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, but the Slovenian striker will have to adapt to a completely different environment if he moves to Old Trafford, where discipline is paramount under new manager Ruben Amorim.

According to Bild , coach Amorim has begun implementing a series of strict rules to reset the club's culture, after a disappointing 2024/25 season when the "Red Devils" only finished 15th in the Premier League. One of the notable changes is a ban on players using international vacations for personal travel - a move that is believed to avoid a repeat of the situation where Marcus Rashford and Casemiro flew to the US for a vacation during their time off the national team in November 2024.

Not stopping there, Amorim also strictly prohibits bringing food into the locker room on matchday, with the aim of strictly controlling nutrition and ensuring optimal physical condition for the players. Another rule - imbued with the spirit of collective discipline - is requiring the losing team in training sessions to clean up all equipment themselves, instead of leaving it to the club's logistics staff. This is considered a way for the Portuguese coach to instill responsibility and a competitive spirit within the team.

For Sesko - who was once pampered like a "king" at Leipzig - moving to a strict and demanding environment like Man United under Amorim will be a big test of his maturity and adaptability.

However, if this deal is completed, this will be a big step forward in the journey to rebuild the "Red Devils" according to the disciplined and effective model that coach Amorim is determined to pursue.
