Tighten advertising and sale of electronic cigarettes on e-commerce platforms

(QNgTV) - The Ministry of Industry and Trade and other ministries will conduct a comprehensive review of electronic cigarettes, increase inspections, and crack down on illegal trading and advertising of these products.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed a Decision directing ministries and branches to disseminate, popularize and provide training on the prevention and control of the harmful effects of e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products; review and develop legal documents; strengthen the enforcement, inspection, examination and supervision of competent authorities in the process of implementing regulations prohibiting the production, trading, import, harboring, transporting and using e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products.
