Singapore wants to welcome more Vietnamese tourists

(NLDO) – The Singapore Tourism Board cooperates with many Vietnamese businesses in an effort to attract Vietnamese tourists to the lion island.

On May 21, iVIVU.com Joint Stock Company and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) announced the establishment of a strategic cooperation relationship within the next year, aiming to promote the number of Vietnamese tourists to Singapore.

Within the framework of cooperation, the two sides will implement a series of activities such as multi-channel integrated communication campaigns; introducing diverse and high-quality tourism products from hotel combos - air tickets, cruise tours... with reasonable prices, optimizing costs and maximizing experience time for tourists.

Singapore Tourism Board cooperates with many Vietnamese businesses

Mr. Terrence Voon, Managing Director of Southeast Asia of Singapore Tourism Board (STB), informed about the cooperation with iVIVU.com to take advantage of strengths and capacity to develop tourism to Singapore from Vietnam.

"The Lion City is just a short flight away and together with iVIVU.com, Singapore continues to have a strong appeal to Vietnamese tourists," said Mr. Terrence Voon.

A day earlier, STB also signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation with Vietnam Airlines and Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) to promote tourism and expand connectivity between Vietnam and Singapore.

Within the framework of this strategic cooperation memorandum, the three parties will coordinate to implement activities to promote Singapore as an ideal destination for both leisure and business tourism from Vietnam; introduce Sentosa as the top choice for Vietnamese tourists...

In 2024, Singapore welcomes 16.5 million international visitors

In 2024, Singapore welcomed 16.5 million international visitors, including more than 393,000 from Vietnam. Tourism revenue reached SGD 29.8 billion, reflecting the growing demand for innovative and diverse tourism products and services. Vietnam continued to be among Singapore's 15 largest source markets, showing strong room for growth in the high-quality tourist segment.

On the other hand, in 2024, Singaporean visitors to Vietnam will reach more than 347,000. In the first 4 months of 2025, Vietnam's tourism industry will continue to welcome more than 110,000 Singaporean visitors, a sharp increase compared to last year.
