The much-anticipated match between Djokovic and Sinner was not really exciting and dramatic. Sinner - who was only 7 years old when Djokovic won his first Grand Slam title - played a match that was somewhat superior to his opponent from Serbia.
Sinner was really good, especially when he served. Sinner's serves were so strong and dangerous that Djokovic couldn't make a good return and was always put in a difficult position.
In the first set, Sinner had two straight wins over Djokovic in games 2 and 6, along with a break point in game 5. Djokovic tried very hard to reduce the gap with his junior but still had to accept defeat 4-6 in this set.
The second and third games were much more exciting as Djokovic caused a lot of trouble for Sinner. In the second game, Nole won twice against Sinner in the first and third games.

But Sinner handled the games he served so well that the Italian even broke in the 7th game. However, in the face of Djokovic's strong resistance, Sinner lost the break in the 10th game. The Italian immediately regained the break in the 11th game and won the 12th game to close the second game with a score of 7-5.
In game 3, Djokovic played more focused and fought fiercely with Sinner. The two players had to enter a tie-break to determine the winner. Here, Sinner again proved his superiority by defeating Djokovic 7-3.
Entering the final of Roland Garros 2025, Sinner will face defending champion Carlos Alcaraz - who defeated Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) 3-1 in the other semi-final.
