With the theme “For a plastic waste-free environment”, contestants will present their works with specific contents such as: their feelings and thoughts about the current environmental situation, awareness of the harmful effects of plastic pollution on life, family and health, as well as necessary actions to encourage people to reduce the use of plastic waste, limit the use of disposable plastic items... The works are presented by contestants on A3 paper, Roky paper and on plastic canvas using colored pencils, colored powder, wax and other materials.
The contest attracted 28 participating units with more than 300 contestants from primary and secondary schools in Ca Mau city and children studying and living at Children's Houses throughout the province.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 48 individual prizes and 16 collective prizes to the outstanding winning works.
The organizers presented gifts to the winners.
Through the children's drawings, we contribute to promoting and calling on the community to pay attention and consider changing their daily lives by effectively using energy sources, using natural materials, limiting the use of plastic products and nylon bags, protecting water resources, meteorology, wildlife... activities to prevent and overcome environmental pollution and degradation.
With the aim of creating a healthy and useful playground, the contest also aims to discover and develop talents, foster thinking, aesthetics, and creativity in children, thereby expressing children's thoughts and awareness on the issue of protecting the living environment today./.
