Department of Information and Communications offers incense and reports on President Ho Chi Minh's achievements at Pac Bo National Special Relic Site

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Information and Communications Industry (ICT) Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2023), on the morning of August 26, the Department of Information and Communications offered incense and reported on achievements at the Temple of President Ho Chi Minh, Pac Bo Special National Relic Site; Kim Dong Historical Relic Site, Truong Ha Commune (Ha Quang). Accompanying were leaders of the following units: Provincial Post Office , Cao Bang Telecommunications, Mobiphone Cao Bang, Viettel Cao Bang Branch, District People's Committee, and Ha Quang District Department of Culture and Information.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates respectfully and commemorated the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people to the cause of national liberation revolution. Over the years, the Information and Communications sector has always proactively proposed and advised the province to issue many programs and plans with focus and key points, suitable to the actual situation, contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management in the sectors of the sector in the locality. The Information and Communications sector has been comprehensively deployed, constantly improving the quality of operations to meet the requirements of serving political tasks, direction and administration of Party committees and authorities at all levels and the information needs of organizations and people.

Postal and telecommunications infrastructure has developed sustainably, in a modern and synchronous direction, and the application of information technology in state agency activities has been strongly and drastically implemented, creating a habit of working in an online environment, promoting administrative reform, improving management effectiveness and efficiency, creating a foundation for e-government and digital government... The postal and telecommunications network continues to expand and operate stably, and service quality has been significantly improved.

The press, radio, television and publishing operate in accordance with their principles and purposes, ensuring the correct role of directing and orienting information of local Party committees and authorities, regularly improving the content and form of communication, contributing to providing complete and timely information on the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, the socio-economic situation, promoting the image of the people, the unique historical and cultural values of Cao Bang province to the people in the country and international friends. Information and communication activities affirm their important role, actively contributing to the socio-economic development, ensuring local national security and defense.
