4,378 temporary and dilapidated houses received support for repair and new construction - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

To implement the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (XNT, NDN) in 2025, the whole province needs to eliminate 7,115 temporary and dilapidated houses, of which 5,222 new houses will be built and 1,893 houses will be renovated and repaired.

The program supports the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses to help the poor have solid housing and stabilize their lives.

By the end of May, the province had disbursed over VND95 billion, eliminating 4,378 temporary and dilapidated houses, of which 2,150 were under construction, accounting for 30.22%; 587 houses had not been implemented. In addition to the support budget, the program mobilized support from socialized resources with 42,474 working days, 27 tons of cement, 30,000 bricks and 1,070 roofing sheets to help people implement XNT and NDN.

Regarding the number of XNT and NDN targets transferred from 2024, the whole province has completed 345 houses, reaching 67.91%, 138 houses are under construction and 25 houses have not started construction; disbursement has reached over 10 billion VND.

To ensure the progress and effectiveness of the program, the province continues to promote propaganda and mobilize all levels, sectors, philanthropists and people to join hands in supporting and accompanying the implementation of the program. Strengthen inspection, supervision and urging the remaining households to strive to complete the XNT and NDN according to the set plan, contributing to improving the living conditions of thousands of poor and near-poor households in the province.
