Gasoline prices increased simultaneously from 3:00 p.m. on June 5 - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

The price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (June 5). The price of E5RON92 gasoline increased by 70 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 130 VND/liter; the price of diesel oil increased by 290 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 180 VND/liter, and mazut oil this period decreased by 90 VND/liter compared to the previous period (May 29).

The new gasoline prices were announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on June 5.

Many types of gasoline and oil increased in price from the afternoon of June 5.

Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline increased by 70 VND/liter compared to the previous adjustment period, the new selling price will be 19,260 VND/liter. The price of RON95-III gasoline will not be higher than 19,690 VND/liter, after being adjusted up 130 VND/liter compared to the retail price from May 29.

Also from 3:00 p.m. on June 5, the price of 0.05S diesel will not be higher than VND17,420/liter (an increase of VND290 compared to the current retail price); the price of kerosene will not be higher than VND17,280/liter (an increase of VND180/liter compared to the current retail price). During this adjustment period, the price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil will decrease by VND90/liter compared to the previous period, the new selling price is VND16,170/kg.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this operating period (from May 29 to June 5) is affected by factors such as: increased US crude oil reserves, new US tax policies issued by the US President for many countries, upcoming OPEC+ meeting on plans to increase supply... The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate in recent days, but the general trend is to increase.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on May 29 and the adjustment period on June 5 was: 84.560 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up 0.112 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.15%); 86.838 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 0.190 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.22%); 93.208 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 3.268 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3.39%); 93.290 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (up 4.836 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 4.93%); 489.698 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 5.800 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 1.17%).

This is the 23rd time in 2025 that gasoline prices have been adjusted. Of which, RON95 gasoline has increased 12 times and decreased 11 times, E5RON92 has increased 13 times and decreased 10 times, diesel has increased 11 times, decreased 11 times and kept the price unchanged, and fuel oil has increased 12 times and decreased 11 times.
