Tour guide skills competition between trade unions of travel agencies

Cao Bang travel agencies sent 5 tour guides to participate in the activity. The contestants went through 3 rounds: Explaining about Ban Gioc waterfall tourist area (Vietnam) - a prominent tourist destination with unique natural and cultural values of the locality; handling simulated situations (contestants choose a tourist attraction and simulate a hypothetical situation at the tourist destination, demonstrating professional skills, communication and flexible handling during the guiding process); emergency response (ability to handle emergency situations).

This is one of the practical activities to welcome the visit, survey and talks of the Secretaries of the two provinces/regions at the Landscape Area, at the same time, contributing to enhancing friendly exchanges, sharing professional experiences and tightening cooperation in the field of border tourism. At the same time, it is an opportunity for tour guides of the two countries to exchange experiences, practice their expertise and enhance their understanding of culture - tourism in border areas, contributing to promoting cooperation and tourism development.

At the end of the competition, the first prize went to Nong Thi Lanh, Cao Bang Tourism Joint Stock Company and Trieu Hai Yen (Guangxi); the second prize went to Nong Thi Hue, Vietnam Global International Travel Joint Stock Company and Bach Hieu Ky (Guangxi); the third prize went to Be Dieu Linh, Cao Bang Tourism Joint Stock Company and Duong Hai Linh (Guangxi).

The exchange activities left many good impressions, demonstrating the spirit of cooperation and friendly exchange between the Trade Unions of travel agencies on both sides, while promoting professional development and enhancing the quality of tourism services in the Vietnam - China border area.
