Exciting 1st Dragon Hill Open Pickleball Tournament 2025: Dramatic until the last ball

The tournament brings together nearly 600 athletes from home and abroad, competing in 5 doubles events according to the skill rating scale: 4.4 - 4.7 - 5.2 - 5.7 and Open. The event takes place at the STARPICK covered Pickleball complex of 11 courts for 2 days from October 11 to October 12, 2025, ensuring standard competition conditions in all weather conditions, attracting a large audience and the Vietnamese Pickleball community.

The 2025 Dragon Hill Open Pickleball Tournament is considered the largest grassroots Pickleball tournament in the North today, in terms of the number of athletes, the quality of organization and the level of community spread. Dramatic content – naming the worthy champions

The matches at the tournament took place with high professional quality, especially from the quarter-finals onwards when the pairs of athletes entered into fierce competition to win the right to enter the final. With the team competition format and Pickleball rules that emphasize tactics, coordination and quick reflexes, many matches left strong emotions for the audience with the ball fighting for each point.

In the 4.4 event, the pair Minh Thuan – Le Hue showed stable performance throughout the tournament and excellently won the Championship after defeating Viet – Ngoc Anh in the final match. The two pairs Tuyet Ong – Do Duc and Chau Giang – Long Ky tied for third place after a very hard-fought competition.

In table 4.7, Thanh Nhua - Hong Quan proved their class with solid play and coordination in every move, winning the championship. The runner-up title belonged to the pair Nam Dieu Hoa - Nhat Cong An. The two pairs Thanh - Huy Anh and Long Em - Dung Chi won third place.

In the 5.2 category, the competition was intense right from the first round. The pair Nguyen Tan – Tan Tay Trai was crowned Champion after a convincing final match against Long Em – Tuan Cong An. The two pairs Do Doan – Thanh Phong and Thanh Ga Tay – Le Tran won Third Prize.

Event 5.7 witnessed many high-speed and technical moves. Thanh Bim – Son Hoa Binh won the championship, followed by Hung Tiger – Dac Tien as runners-up. Third place was awarded to the two pairs Dung Chu – Thuan Ngong and Gia Hung – Duc Lam.

As the most attractive event of the tournament, the Open event gathered many experienced players. The pair Linh Muoi - Tri Chuot played explosively, excellently winning the Championship after defeating the international pair Max Manthou - Santhosh Narayaman in the final match. The two pairs Trieu Cau Bung - Dat Tro and Jason Taylor - Robert Stirling shared the third prize. In addition, to encourage the spirit of the participating athletes, the Organizing Committee decided to award additional Encouragement prizes to 4 pairs: Dung Tao - Thang, Hiep - Tung, Tien Tuan - Tu Le, Ruben Gonzalez - Leader Lazaro, recognizing their spirit of dedication.
