At the Festival, representatives of a number of businesses operating in industrial parks in the province said that in the last months of 2024 and 2025, the demand for labor recruitment of businesses will be large, including many positions requiring qualified workers. Therefore, vocational training institutions need to enhance the applicability of training programs, promptly and best grasp the actual needs of learners and the labor recruitment criteria of businesses.
At the Festival, workers and students can talk to employers, learn specifically about preferential policies, job requirements... for job positions that match their abilities and economic conditions. Businesses also organize interviews and pre-selection of workers directly at the booths.
According to Tran Van Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) of Bac Giang province, in 2025, businesses in the province will need to recruit about 80,000 new jobs. The 2024 Job Fair is an opportunity for career orientation, strengthening cooperation between businesses, vocational training institutions and workers and students; a bridge to help workers and students have the opportunity to interact, demonstrate their abilities and find job opportunities in their majors at businesses.
“In the coming time, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will assign the Employment Service Center to play a good role as a bridge between businesses, vocationaltraining institutions and workers and students. Based on recruitment needs, we will continue to organize career counseling activities, connecting labor supply and demand,” Mr. Ha added.
On this occasion, the Employment Service Center (Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs), the Industrial Technical College and representatives of enterprises signed a cooperation agreement on training and human resource supply.
