The Health Sector Badminton Tournament is an annual activity to encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire sector to enthusiastically participate in physical activities, effectively implementing the movement "All people practice sports" following the example of great Uncle Ho.
This year's tournament, hosted by the Mental Hospital, attracted 32 units in the industry to participate. The Organizing Committee selected 198 outstanding athletes to participate in competitions in many different categories and ages...
The competition takes place on February 21 and 22, 2025. Based on the competition results, the Organizing Committee will award First, Second, Third, and Encouragement prizes for the competition categories and the entire team, and also award prizes to the excellent host unit. In addition, the Organizing Committee will award prizes to the units with the most participating athletes, the unit with the best costumes, and the unit with the most high prizes in the participating categories.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the Competition, Associate Professor Dr. Le Minh Quang - Director of the Department of Health emphasized that health is the most valuable asset for each person, participating in sports activities is necessary to practice and improve health. To build the sports movement into a widespread activity in the industry, in units, attracting everyone to enthusiastically participate in training to have enough health to complete political tasks and the key goals and plans of the Industry, each collective and individual must be aware of the valuable asset of health, the comfort of mind and body when participating in sports activities, which is an effective remedy to have enough confidence and health to achieve all successes.
The tournament contributes to promoting the movement of physical exercise, sports , health training, improving physical fitness for cadres, civil servants and public employees; creating opportunities for cadres, civil servants and public employees of units in the industry.
With that spirit, the Health Sector Badminton Tournament is an annual activity to encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole sector to actively and enthusiastically participate in physical training and sports, and to carry out the movement "All people practice sports" following the example of the great Uncle Ho. Study and follow his example of physical training, in the spirit of maintaining and promoting the movement of physical training and sports to become a widespread activity in the whole sector, improving health to fulfill the political task of caring for and protecting the health of the city's people.
The tournament was successfully held, with the following results: For the team: First place overall: Mental Hospital, Second place overall: Children's Hospital, Third place overall: An Lao District General Hospital, Thuy Nguyen City General Hospital, Excellent host unit: Mental Hospital. The organizing committee also awarded First, Second, and Third prizes for 13 competition categories./
