11 years of persistently spreading green lifestyle
Launched in 2015, the program "Clean Environment - Green Life" by Syngenta Vietnam in coordination with other organizations spreads green lifestyles and raises public awareness of environmental protection.
In 2025, in coordination with local authorities, Syngenta Vietnam organized the collection of used pesticide packaging regardless of brand at six locations in Can Tho City and Soc Trang Province. Many people collected and brought it to the exchange points to receive practical gifts. The program also focuses on raising awareness of farmers on the safe, effective and responsible use of pesticides. Syngenta Vietnam organizes training courses to help farmers grasp the principles of “4 rights”, “5 golden rules” in pesticide use, standard labor protection, methods of collecting, classifying and destroying pesticide packaging after use. Thereby helping farmers gain knowledge, contributing to changing awareness of environmental protection responsibilities, improving the effectiveness of pest management, ensuring the health of themselves, their families and the community.

After more than a decade of implementation, the results achieved are not only in the number of collected trees or the number of newly planted trees, but also in the change in awareness and actions of the community.
From this program, Mr. Luu Van Dinh, Thanh Phu commune, Co Do district, Can Tho formed the habit of collecting packaging immediately after use, not only protecting the environment, protecting his family's health, but also being able to exchange gifts. "I also often remind people around me to follow the program's instructions," he said.
