The award ceremony for literature, arts and journalism on the topic of armed forces and revolutionary war in the period 2020 - 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense took place on the evening of April 15 in Hanoi.

Accordingly, the Minister of National Defense awarded 208 authors and groups of authors with outstanding literary, artistic and journalistic works on the topic of armed forces and revolutionary war in the period 2020 - 2025.

Including 30 first prizes, 43 second prizes, 59 third prizes and 76 consolation prizes.

30 A prizes in the literature field were awarded to: the short story collection Suddenly Mai Vang by writer Nguyen Tri Huan, the memoir collection Canh chim Kvay by writer Trinh Quang Phu; the epic poem Dien Bien Symphony by poet Huu Thinh...

In the music field, the A prize was awarded to the musical Red Aspiration by the group of authors Nguyen Dang Chuong - Pham Thi Van Anh, Nguyen Xuan Thuy, Do Bao; the song Song on the waves (music: Do Hong Quan, poetry: Hoang Thi Hanh)...

The B prizes were awarded to the song Flying in Love (music: Giang Son, poetry: Le Canh Nhac); the feature films Dao, Pho and Piano by Feature Film Joint Stock Company 1; the feature film Khuc Mua by People's Army Cinema.

The critical collection Four Writers House No. 4 by author Ngo Thao; the short story collection Border Smoke by author Le Quang Trang; the memoir collection Touching Memory by writer Vu Thi Hong...

Among them, Le Quang Trang belongs to the outstanding generation of 9x writers, who received the Vietnam Writers Association award and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism award for the typical literary book of the year.

Another notable case, poet Le Canh Nhac was twice on the list of B and C awards.

He is the poet of two award-winning songs: the song Steel Mesh Battlefield composed by Pham Anh Thong based on the poem by Le Canh Nhac, which won the C prize; and the song Flying in Love composed by Giang Son based on the poem by Le Canh Nhac, which won the B prize.
