Multiple accidents on National Highway 1 flood avoidance route

(QBĐT) - A series of accidents between 2 trucks, a passenger car and a container on the flood avoidance route of National Highway 1 through Le Thuy district.

On the afternoon of March 19, news from the People's Committee of Thanh Thuy commune (Le Thuy) said that an accident involving 4 vehicles had just occurred in the area.

According to initial information, the accident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, on the National Highway 1 flood avoidance route through Thanh My village 1, Thanh Thuy commune. At the time mentioned above, 4 vehicles including 2 trucks, 1 passenger car and 1 container truck were traveling in the North-South direction, when they reached the above road section, they collided head-on.

At the scene, two trucks were sandwiched between each other after crashing into the back of the container truck in front. The passenger bus was the last one and suffered severe damage to the front. The accident injured the driver and the bus assistant and they were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities arrived at the scene to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
