On August 23rd, in Hanoi , the final round of the Vietnam Blockchain Talent Search Competition (VietChain Talents 2025) took place, featuring 16 outstanding entries. Held during the nationwide celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the competition aimed to contribute another voice and activity affirming faith in Vietnamese intelligence, with the aspiration to conquer and master technology and the pioneering spirit of youth.

The competition received support from many state management agencies such as the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice , the Ministry of Interior, and more than 100 media outlets and partners such as Nami Foundation, BiGod, OKX, Sotatek, Spores Network, Amnis Finance, etc.

Major General, Dr. Ho Van Huong, Deputy Head of the Government Cipher Committee, said that from the initial preparation days to the final round, the Government Cipher Committee, together with the Vietnam Blockchain and Digital Assets Association, 1Matrix Company, and partner agencies, organizations, and businesses, created the best conditions for contestants to test their abilities, gain experience, and most importantly, affirm themselves.

"This also demonstrates the value of multilateral cooperation: the State creates the legal framework and strategic direction for development; businesses provide resources, markets, and opportunities for implementation; social organizations and professional associations act as bridges, spreading values; and the younger generation is at the center, the driving force to transform knowledge into initiatives, and ideas into practical value," Mr. Huong emphasized.

After intense and outstanding rounds of competition, along with careful consideration and discussion, the Judging Panel selected four outstanding entries to win first prize in each category:

The first prize in Topic 1 - Blockchain Layer went to KMASC for their project, "National Certificate and Diploma Management Platform," valued at 1 billion VND, recognizing the project as a highly scalable blockchain infrastructure with multi-sector integration capabilities.

The FidaTech team, with their outstanding VEXTOR project, won first prize in Topic 2 - CEX-DEX Exchange, worth 500 million VND. The VEXTOR project, a centralized digital asset exchange solution, highlighted an innovative exchange model focusing on transparent liquidity and user security.

The Web3 TraceHub team excelled, surpassing other teams to win first prize in Topic 3 - Blockchain Traceability, worth 500 million VND, with their solution applying blockchain technology in traceability, aiming for transparency in the supply chain.

The AnyAxis Labs x Decentrio Labs team, with their ZK-Portal project, won Topic 4 - Blockchain Bridge, worth 500 million VND. Their project demonstrated the team's ability to connect multiple chains, ensuring the security and efficiency of cross-chain transactions.

Colonel, Dr. Hoang Van Thuc, Director of the Cryptography Technical Academy, Government Cipher Committee, and member of the Judging Panel, assessed that the projects demonstrated diversity: not only focusing on the financial sector – a familiar "meeting point" for blockchain – but also boldly expanding into core areas with sustainable social value such as healthcare, education, and many community services. This diversity proves that blockchain is not limited to exchanges or financial products, but can absolutely become a technological infrastructure that changes people's lives for the better.

In addition to the main awards, Tether also selected the best projects to award the "Stablecoin Application Initiative" prize, worth a total of 250 million VND. The 5 projects selected are: Loragon, MSB TrustChain, Hashwei Foundation, Bamboo Team, and WhiteBlue Labs.

“This year’s contestants have demonstrated outstanding capabilities. The competition is not just about discovering talent, but also affirming the creativity and frank debating spirit of the young generation of Vietnam in the field of blockchain and digital assets,” emphasized Ms. Nguyen Van Hien, Vice President and General Secretary of the Association, and Head of the Organizing Committee.

Also at the final round of the competition, SotaTek Vietnam Technology Joint Stock Company awarded the "Technology Launchpad" prize, worth a total of 250 million VND, to the Loragon team.

In addition to the main awards decided by the Judging Panel, the competition also includes the "Community Impression" Award, a special prize given to the MSB Trustchain team - the team that received the most love, votes, and publicity from the community throughout the competition.

The final round of the competition also included a special moment to honor the Top 16 outstanding teams that advanced to the final stage. These teams had overcome hundreds of entries from across the country, demonstrating dedication, creativity, and unwavering effort throughout their journey in the competition.

“Confidence, critical thinking, and quick problem-solving skills are proof that Vietnam has been and is developing a generation of human resources capable of participating in the global blockchain value chain. I believe that, starting from the 2025 competition, many ideas can continue to develop, connect with investment funds and international ecosystems to become practical products with regional reach,” affirmed Teddy Hung, Director of BCG Hong Kong.
