The Thaiger reported on December 11th that the rescue operation was carried out by the non-profit organization Be One. The organization's founder, Chalida “Ton Or” Palamart, said that a neighbor who had witnessed the abuse for years finally decided to seek help to protect the child.
Reportedly, the child lives in a rented room with her biological father and stepmother. The father goes to work almost every day, leaving the child home alone with the stepmother.

According to neighbors, they frequently witnessed the woman abusing the child with acts such as slapping, hitting, pinching, and even biting the little girl. Neighbors added that the woman did not stop even when others were present.
Witnesses told Be One that the girl was frequently forced to eat very spicy food. If she didn't finish it, her stepmother would slap her, continuing the abuse until the child obediently complied.
According to sources, the child was sometimes locked alone in her room and not allowed to attend school regularly. She was also forced to stay up late and do chores beyond her age. The stepmother often appeared caring and affectionate towards the girl when the father was present. The abuse allegedly resumed immediately after the father left the room.
The landlord reportedly warned the stepmother multiple times to stop harming the child. However, she ignored the warnings and threatened to harm neighbors if anyone reported the incident to the police or authorities.
Late on December 10th, Ton Or confirmed that the girl had been successfully rescued and was now safe. However, details about the lawsuit against the girl's stepmother have not been revealed.
